That you never tried scuba diving or that you already have your certification and want to continue learning, we have a course for you. Starting from bubble maker to speciality courses, you can find a course that will interest you. All courses are given by a PADI MSDT. For residents of Montreal, you also have the option to start your course with 'les plongées Yolaine Rioux" so that it is faster when you get to Akumal.
Bubble Maker
The bubble maker is a course offered to kids that are 8 or older. We take them scuba diving in Akumal Bay. They will be provided with all the scuba gear and will learn the basics of diving. Maximum depth is 2m or 6 feet. They can see some sea turtles, rays, corals, and fishes while learning and having fun.
Discover Scuba Diving
Scuba diving always interested you, but you never got the chance to get certified. Take the DSD course and dive in safe conditions. This course last about 4 hours and includes theory, few skills in shallow water, and 1 open water dive. You will always be with a certified instructor that will take you through all the steps of diving and make sure that you are safe at all times.
Open Water Diver
The open water course is the first step of your certification as a scuba diver. This course includes theory, skills in confined water and 4 open water dives. You will get a certification that is recognized worldwide and that allows you to dive up to 18m or 60 feet. What is a nicer place to learn to dive than the Carribean ? You can also start your course at home and finish your open water dives here.
Advanced Open Water Diver
You are already a certified open water diver and want to pursue your formation. The advanced open water diver course is perfect for you. This course includes 5 open water dives that will allow you to work on your navigation and bouyancy skills, and will take you to learn new dive techniques such as deep diving and night diving.
Rescue, EFR and Dive Master courses are also offered. Price on demand.
Speciality courses
You want to specialized yourself in a type on diving such as deep diving or night diving. The speciality courses take you to do the type of dives you like and become an expert. With your rescue diver course and 5 specialities, you can get the title of Master Scuba Diver ! Many other speciliaties than the ones listed below are offered. Just ask.
